Rajo rosso is a red wine with excellent structure and an enduring and pleasant aftertaste.
Produced by blending Merlot with Marzemino and Cabernet Sauvignon, it is hand harvested in small crates, in which they are taken directly to the cellar. Harvesting generally takes place in late September, and some of Merlot grapes are left to over-ripen on the plant. The wine is left over the winter in order to soften the tannins. It is deep red in colour with a range of hues and a persistent palate.
